“Very helpful workshop and very worth my investment in both time and cost.  I especially appreciated the chance to interact with agents and publishers and the opportunity to better understand the business side of writing and publishing.  Very motivating and a lot of fun.  Jason is an excellent speaker and teacher and it was a day well spent.” – Michael Gibbons

“Mr. Wright’s Someday One-day workshop gave me a glance into my own potential.  His speakers were honest and open, it felt like having a conversation with a smart Uncle–the one you do like.  Jason was also highly encouraging towards reaching my someday. The workshop was invaluable.“ – Jamie McCoard

Why do we call them the Someday One-Day Writing Workshop?

Because you’ve been saying, “Someday I’ll write a book” for a long time.

Or, perhaps, “Someday I’ll finish my book.”

Why not now?

Join us on Friday, May 8th from 9 am – 4 pm in Idaho Falls, Idaho at the Holiday Inn Express for our Someday One-Day Writing Workshop. (Other cities and dates TBA.)

I’ll share my writing experiences, my publishing journey and walk you through the monumental changes in the industry over the last decade.

But you won’t just hear from me…

You’ll have an opportunity to hear from Jeff Kleinman, an A-list agent and partner at Folio Literary Management in NYC. Jeff will take your questions and address some common myths about agents and getting published.

Joining us by Skype will be Chris Schoebinger from Shadow Mountain Publishing. Chris is responsible for launching the careers of New York Times bestsellers Obert Skye, Ally Condie, Brandon Mull, James Dashner and others.

What else is on the agenda?

  • Brainstorming
  • The Writing Process
  • Editing
  • Overcoming Writer’s Block
  • The Seven Point Plot Ladder
  • Writing Prompts
  • Ebook Publishing

We’ll also do some Group Storytelling and save plenty of time for questions.

Seating is very limited and two completely funded “scholarships” are available. Please contact us if you have a special financial need or wish to nominate someone to attend at no cost.

Your price is only $120 for the day. Other similar workshops offering access to agents, editors and authors are often $400, $500 and more.
